Huawei Joins Global AI Standards Alliance, New Developments in Sino-US Tech Cooperation

Foreign media: Chinese tech giant Huawei has joined the Global Artificial Intelligence Standards Alliance, the Agent Artificial Intelligence Foundation (AAIF), which includes participation from U.S. companies such as OpenAI and Google. This is a rare collaboration between China and the United States against the backdrop of technological competition.

AAIF was launched by the Linux Foundation in December 2023, aiming to promote the development of open and accessible artificial intelligence. Its founding members also include Anthropic and Microsoft.

In this move, Huawei and Lenovo became the first Chinese companies to join. The total number of AAIF members increased to 146, mostly from Europe and the United States.
