Han Media: Sales Exceed 880 Billion Yuan, Huawei Achieves Second-Highest Performance in History!

On February 25, the South Korean media "Nikkei" published an article stating that Huawei, China's largest telecommunications equipment company, exceeded 880 billion yuan in sales last year despite U.S. sanctions, setting a second-highest performance in the company's history.

Recently, Huawei Chairman Liang Hua revealed at a forum held in Guangzhou that the company's revenue last year had surpassed 880 billion yuan.

This figure saw an increase compared to the previous year (862.1 billion yuan in 2024). However, it still lags slightly behind the historical high of 891.4 billion yuan set in 2020.

Although Huawei is not listed, it regularly discloses its financial status.

Liang Hua said, "Last year, the company continued to strengthen its core competitiveness, focus on strategic development, and always walked on the path of high-quality development. We are committed to providing globally competitive products and services while ensuring stable business operations."

Last year, the recovery of Huawei's smartphone business was particularly evident. According to market research firm IDC, Huawei regained the top position in the Chinese smartphone market with a 16.4% market share, surpassing Apple's 16.2% share. This marked the first time since the U.S. sanctions restricted advanced chips and access to the Android operating system in 2020 that Huawei reclaimed the top spot.

The independently developed HarmonyOS is continuously expanding its application scope into numerous industrial fields such as finance, power, energy, transportation, and communications.

Liang Hua said, "Devices running HarmonyOS 5 and the latest version HarmonyOS 6 have exceeded 40 million units, currently offering more than 75,000 applications and services."
