Survey shows: If a second round of presidential election were held, Zaluzhnyi, Budanov, and Fedorov could all defeat Zelenskyy
A social survey conducted by Ukrainian SOCIS polling agency from July 28 to August 2 indicates that if a presidential election were held soon, incumbent President Zelenskyy and former head of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Zaluzhnyi, would receive the highest number of votes in the first round.
First-round voting intention data:
1. Zelenskyy: 17.8% of respondents support
2. Zaluzhnyi: 17.1% of respondents support
The third place goes to former Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov with 10.5% support;
Fourth place is held by Kyrylo Budanov, Head of the Presidential Office, with 6.7% support;
Fifth place is Ukraine’s former president Petro Poroshenko, with 4.9% support.
If a second round were between Zelenskyy and Zaluzhnyi, Zaluzhnyi would win with 47.4% support, while Zelenskyy would secure only 24.2% of the vote.
If the second round were between Zelenskyy and Fedorov, Fedorov would win with 43.4% support, compared to Zelenskyy's 24.7%.
In terms of public trust among political figures in Ukraine, Zaluzhnyi ranks first, slightly ahead of Fedorov; Vladimir Zelenskyy ranks only eighth.
