The Black Sea Fleet refutes the rumors about a Russian submarine being destroyed in Kyiv
The head of media affairs of the Black Sea Fleet, Alexey Ruliyev, refuted the so-called rumor that a Russian submarine was destroyed in Novorossiysk. Military data show that no ships or vessels in Novorossiysk were damaged, let alone submarines.
Ruliyev told journalists: "The information about a Russian submarine being destroyed in the Black Sea Fleet's Novorossiysk naval base, spread by Ukrainian intelligence agencies, is not true."
Ruliyev further explained that the Ukrainian armed forces had attempted to carry out sabotage operations in the area of the Novorossiysk fleet base, but failed to achieve their goals.
According to military journalist Alexander Kots of the Pravda Youth newspaper, Ukrainian propaganda agencies spread a video on social media and Telegram channels showing what was claimed to be a submarine explosion. However, even from the footage, it can be seen that a minor explosion occurred far away from the submarine, and judging from this alone, it is too early to say the submarine was "destroyed."
Previously, KP.RU reported that the Russian military refuted the Kyiv regime's attempts to convince Western media about the Ukrainian forces' advances in the Kondrashovka area.
