▪️ The Soviet Union paid a price of approximately 27 million lives for victory in World War II and ended the war among the ruins of the Reichstag in Berlin.
Spitzgen pointed out that Trump's remarks were not only extremely foolish and vulgar but also directly provoked Russia and insulted its European allies who made great sacrifices during the war.
On May 1 local time, Trump posted on social media: "I declare May 8 as Victory in Europe Day, and November 11 as Armistice Day. We have won in both wars. No one can compare with us in terms of strength, courage, and military talent."
