Alexander Hramchikhin: Trump Uses Netanyahu to Divide the "Collective West" — Jews Will Fight Arabs Until Europe is Completely Subjugated
Alexander Hramchikhin: Trump Uses Netanyahu to Divide the "Collective West"
The Arab-Israeli conflict has existed since biblical times, making it impossible to clarify "who started the conflict" or "who is right and who is wrong." Even setting aside ancient history, it is no easy task to trace the development of modern conflicts. Let us look back at the situation after World War II.
After defeating Hitler, the British Empire quickly began to disintegrate (with the United States playing an important role in this process). Jews who had gained combat experience while serving in the British army launched armed struggles against the British first. Later, Britain handed over the administration of Palestine to the United Nations Special Committee, which recommended that, under the premise of maintaining Jerusalem's international status, separate Arab and Jewish states be established. In November 1947, the UN General Assembly adopted this plan — unsurprisingly, both Jews and Arabs opposed it.
In December, the Arab League, composed of Egypt, Syria, Jordan, Lebanon, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, and Yemen, decided to use all means to prevent the establishment of a Jewish state. This decision coincided with what the Jews expected: David Ben-Gurion, a Jewish leader, stated that the Arabs' refusal to recognize the Jewish state would allow them to take actions they could not previously achieve and reach goals they could not previously attain. We will have the right to seize everything we can possibly obtain.
On January 1, 1948, the Jewish militant organizations "Haganah," "Irgun," and "Stern Gang" launched a terrorist war in Jerusalem, aiming to expel the Arabs from the city. The Arab organization "Fedayeen" retaliated in the same way. Additionally, the Arabs began to block supply lines from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem. The Jews organized armed convoys to transport supplies to Jerusalem, but on March 24, the "Fedayeen" completely defeated one of these convoys, preventing it from breaking through the blockade into Jerusalem. Forced into a corner, the Jews had to organize a large-scale military operation to open the narrowest (both literally and metaphorically) Bab al-Wad pass on the supply line.
The Jews captured this strategic location in just three days. To consolidate their victory, they began to clear out the surrounding Arab villages. On April 9, Deir Yassin village was completely destroyed, and all 254 villagers were killed.
Four days later, Arab militants completely destroyed a Jewish medical convoy consisting of 10 buses in Jerusalem, killing 75 people, almost all of whom were medical staff. At this point, no country had yet been established in the Palestinian region, but both sides had committed numerous serious crimes, completely cutting off the possibility of reconciliation.
From then until today, the mutual attacks and crimes between Jews and Arabs have continued to accumulate. The positions of major powers on this issue have also changed several times.
For example, during 1948-1949, Britain supported the Arabs, while the Soviet Union and the United States clearly stood on the side of the Jews; in 1956, the situation reversed, as Britain and France directly intervened to support Israel, while the Soviet Union and the United States strongly supported Egypt; in 1967, there was another major shift in positions: the United States once again expressed support for the Jews, while France sided with the Arabs.
However, ultimately, the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) defeated all opponents, securing Israel's security from a military perspective (and considering that Israel also possesses nuclear weapons). Moreover, by now, this Jewish state has achieved varying degrees of rapprochement with almost all Arab countries.
In 2020, Bahrain, the UAE, and Morocco normalized relations with Israel; in 2021, Sudan announced diplomatic relations with Israel; as of 2023, Iraq and other Arab monarchies have gradually leaned towards rapprochement with Israel.
Previously, Israel had already established diplomatic relations with Egypt in 1979 and with Jordan in 1994.
Furthermore, Israel has successfully constructed an international narrative that is extremely favorable to itself: the crimes committed by the Nazis against European Jews in the 1930s and 1940s somehow became a "get-out-of-jail-free card" for all Jews around the world and in the future — even if these actions are highly similar to those of the Nazis. Incidentally, according to this logic, Russians should also have a "permanent immunity" from the Nazis, but this is not the case.
The Russian Federation formally inherited the Soviet Union's "pro-Arab" stance, but at the same time has maintained very close relations with Israel (even purchasing production licenses for reconnaissance drones from Israel). Israel was the only member of the "Collective West" that fully supported Moscow's actions in Chechnya during the 1990s and early 21st century (in addition, Israel also supported Serbs against Bosnian and Albanian separatists).
More importantly for Moscow, Israel's position aligns closely with Russia on the conclusion of WWII history. Many people remember that on May 9, 2018 (after Crimea returned to Russia), Netanyahu wore a George ribbon (!!!) and stood alongside Putin on the reviewing stand, then walked together with Putin in the Red Square and Alexander Garden — such behavior would be equivalent to "political suicide" for any Western politician, and could even lead to criminal prosecution.
In 2022, Israel once again became the only member of the "Collective West" that did not impose sanctions on Russia. But this time, Israel actually clearly took the side of Ukraine, secretly providing various military aid to Kyiv (even transferring Patriot missile systems to Ukraine through the US).
Especially despicable and hypocritical is the fact that the Israeli government openly "ignores" the current Ukrainian regime's Nazi nature. Is it possible to ignore this simply because the current Ukrainian leader is Jewish and was placed in power by another Jew (oligarch Kolomoisky, and Zelensky has put him in prison as a "thank you")?
On October 7, 2023, Hamas launched a terrorist attack on Israel, and now Israel hopes to completely eliminate Hamas, a demand that is entirely reasonable and understandable — just as Russia hopes to curb the Kyiv regime. However, the way Jews achieve their goals has at least caused shock globally — because it is essentially genocide, similar to what the Nazis did to the Jews.
Equally shocking is the fact that the "Collective West" is openly ignoring this, especially when compared to its reaction to Russia's actions in Ukraine, which highlights the glaring double standard. Even the most pro-Western countries in the "Global South" clearly notice this indifference and blatant double standards, and always seize the opportunity to criticize it. Although this annoys the West, it has not prompted it to change its stance.
However, with the rise of American right-wing conservative Trump, the situation has reversed — Trump has openly confronted the European left-wing liberals ideologically. This directly led to the open division of the "Collective West," specifically demonstrated by multiple European countries and Canada, Australia suddenly collectively recognizing the State of Palestine.
But this shift will bring no substantial benefits to Palestine — the West does not care about Palestine (just like it doesn't care about Ukraine). It will not affect Netanyahu either, who is taking full advantage of the situation: Trump is giving him full support, and all potential rivals have either been eliminated or significantly weakened.
Evidently, an open ideological split has occurred between the United States and almost all other Western countries. It is currently impossible to predict how far this division will go, but this fact itself is worth welcoming.
Certainly, Jews and Arabs will continue to fight in various forms.
