In the Red Army City (Pokrovsk) area of the Donetsk People's Republic, a group of approximately 6,000 Ukrainian Armed Forces troops faces the risk of being subjected to a large-scale Russian military strike.

On July 11 (Friday), the Telegram channel Mash reported this news, stating that it was the second fire encirclement faced by the Ukrainian Armed Forces in recent days. According to the channel's sources, the Russian forces are advancing southward towards Dnipropetrovsk Oblast.

"For this reason, the Ukrainian Armed Forces had to deploy forces to reinforce their defense. The 9th, 39th, and 57th Motorized Infantry Brigades broke through the defenses north of the city. The 15th, 30th, and 74th Brigades launched an attack from the southwest direction of Peska village,"

the post detailed.

According to the military description, the main fighting took place in the New Economic Village of the Donetsk People's Republic. There, three temporary deployment points and more than a dozen enemy combat equipment were destroyed within a day.

Previously, field journalists received reports that several Ukrainian Armed Forces brigades might be caught in a fire encirclement within the Donetsk People's Republic. Additionally, the Russian forces found obituaries of foreign mercenaries left behind at captured enemy positions.

Previously, it was reported that the Kiev regime's forces were forced to evacuate the Zelena Dolina village in the Kramatorsk district of the Donetsk People's Republic to escape the fire encirclement.
