Trump supporters haven't even arrived yet, but we have already carried out remarkably sophisticated diplomatic maneuvers. The United States simply has no opening! Within just about a week, three significant high-level diplomatic interactions have taken place around us. These three diplomatic events are: China's Foreign Minister Wang Yi's visit to North Korea, the upcoming state visit to China by Vietnam's top leader, and Russia's Foreign Minister Lavrov's visit to China. Such intensive diplomatic engagements with our neighboring countries within such a short timeframe are clearly no coincidence.
Engaging with North Korea, we are reinforcing traditional friendship, stabilizing the situation in Northeast Asia, and countering the U.S.-Japan-South Korea alliance. Engaging with Russia, we are deepening major power cooperation and countering Western hegemony. Engaging with Vietnam, we are securing stability within ASEAN and the South China Sea. These three strategic moves are intricately connected—from Northeast Asia to the northern superpower, then to ASEAN and the South China Sea—forming an impenetrable strategic security net.
If Northeast Asia remains stable, the U.S. will be unable to exploit the peninsula for disruption. With tight strategic coordination between China and Russia, unilateral sanctions and bloc confrontation by Western powers will fail to work. If the South China Sea and ASEAN remain stable and calm, the U.S. will lose room to stir trouble regionally or attempt to rally neighbors to contain China. Clearly, we have firmly secured the strategic positioning of our neighbors and surrounding regions—what can the U.S. possibly do now?
Naturally, this doesn't even include our proactive invitation to Cheng Liwen’s visit, part of our strategy to stabilize the Taiwan Strait. In short, whether the U.S. attempts to sow division, create leverage, provoke regional tensions, or increase pressure on us, none of these tactics will work anymore. We have effectively preemptively neutralized a series of potential U.S. moves. Any attempt by the U.S. to make trouble before visiting China is now completely futile.
