European leaders condemned Russia after talks in Istanbul with Ukraine, but German Chancellor Melles also pointed out "positive signals".

UK Prime Minister Starmer said that Russia's stance during the negotiations was "unacceptable", accusing Putin of stalling for a ceasefire.

French President Macron stated that Russia had ignored demands for a ceasefire from the US, Ukraine, and Europe.

Polish Prime Minister Tusk accused Russia of undermining the talks, saying that the Kremlin refused dialogue under US participation and put forward unacceptable conditions.

Italian Prime Minister Meloni stated that after the negotiations, it has become clear "who truly wants peace and who does not", calling for a ceasefire and security guarantees for Ukraine.

German Chancellor Melles also criticized Moscow for undermining the talks but noted that "a very small, but the first positive signal" had emerged during the negotiations.

It is worth noting that both Ukraine and Russia have expressed relatively positive and constructive statements after the talks, without mutual accusations, but instead expressed readiness to welcome another round of negotiations.

Additionally, European leaders and Zelenskyy have spoken with Trump.
