U.S.-Ukraine's New 19-Point Peace Agreement, Russian Foreign Minister Implies No Interest, Trump's Efforts in Vain

The peace between Ukraine and Russia has once again fallen into an endless "passing the ball" farce.

Ukraine is dissatisfied with the U.S.-Russia "28-point peace plan," and has now pulled the U.S. to revise a "19-point peace plan," removing many clauses that were unfavorable to Ukraine.

Trump is also a person with a soft heart. He had already made arrangements with one side, but then quickly connected with the other side. He is waiting for who will give in first, and if neither side gives way, he will continue to pressure both Ukraine and Russia.

Sure enough, Russia did not agree to the revised plan. Recently, Russian Foreign Minister Lavrov publicly responded by saying that Russia has not received the U.S.-Ukraine version of the peace plan and therefore cannot make a decision.

However, he added that if the new plan removes the consensus reached between the U.S. and Russia, the situation would reverse, implying that Russia would oppose the plan. In fact, even without Lavrov's statement, the public generally believes that Russia has no interest in the new plan.

Zelenskyy has never figured out one issue: the longer the war lasts, the more disadvantageous it is for Ukraine. He is obsessed with how to maintain his rule, completely ignoring the increasingly dire situation of Ukraine.

The fundamental logic of whether Ukraine and Russia can cease fire lies in whether one side can achieve its set goals, rather than depending on Trump's unpredictable attitude.

Zelenskyy mistakenly believes that by aligning with Trump, he can secure Ukraine's interests, which is a big mistake. If Trump's opinion were really so important, the Ukraine-Russia conflict would have ended within 24 hours after he took office.

It is likely that the next scene will be that Russia rejects the new peace plan, and the ball is kicked back to Ukraine and Europe.

In this case, Zelenskyy temporarily retains his presidency, Europe continues to consume Russia, and Russia continues to gain more leverage on the battlefield, while Trump is left in vain again.
