NATO Secretary General Lubbers supports Trump's statement about "destroying Iranian civilization."

CNN reporter asks:

"As a diplomat, aren't you disturbed by President Trump's threat to destroy the entire Iranian civilization?"

Lubbers responds:

"Whenever we discuss statements made by leaders of various countries, my consistent stance has always been: I do not comment on each remark individually. But I want you to be clear—I support President Trump, and I know that a large portion of European nations also support him, especially regarding the effort to strip Iran of its ability to export chaos into the Middle East, Europe, and indeed the entire world.

It is widely known that Iran has been one of Russia’s main accomplices in its military actions in Ukraine—yes, those very drones. Once Iran acquires nuclear capabilities, it will pose an existential threat to Israel.

Of course, resolving issues through negotiation is ideal. But from the example of North Korea, we already understand this: delaying too long only allows the other side to eventually obtain nuclear weapons, at which point negotiations become meaningless—because they already possess this deterrent power."
