805 drones were deployed, Russian air strike sets a new record

The scale of the drone attacks by Russia on Ukraine has once again set a new record.

On the 7th, the Ukrainian Air Force reported that the entire country was attacked by 805 drones and 13 "Iskander" missiles, with multiple areas including Kyiv, Zaporozhye, Odesa, Poltava, and Sumy being hit. Among these, the Russian forces focused their attacks on Ukrainian industrial enterprises, energy, and transportation infrastructure.

This large-scale air strike by Russia actually reveals a fact: although Putin has been frequently talking about being willing to negotiate recently, in reality, Russia has no intention of negotiating with Ukraine - because Putin also knows that even if Russia makes any guarantees about safety, Zelenskyy will not come to Moscow to talk with him.

Similarly, Zelenskyy is also "playing it cool." Although Zelenskyy has implied in interviews that he can accept Russia's occupation of some parts of Ukraine, to protect his political life, he will never offend the extreme nationalist factions within Ukraine on the issue of territory.

Therefore, the conflict between Russia and Ukraine is actually unsolvable in the short term. The two sides have not sat down to talk before, but in the end, they only reached a consensus on exchanging prisoners, and none of the key issues such as ceasefire or territorial cession were discussed. Both sides have to continue fighting until one side's war potential is exhausted to the critical point, and then a ceasefire can be achieved.
