【Breaking: Iranian Armed Forces Repel U.S. Warship in Strait of Hormuz】 The Public Relations Department of Iran's Armed Forces (Artesh) has released a statement: Under decisive and swift warnings, they successfully prevented U.S. Zionist enemy warships from entering the Strait of Hormuz.

Additional reports indicate that Iran fired warning shots at U.S. Navy vessels attempting to enter the Strait of Hormuz from the Gulf of Oman. The American ships were forced to retreat.

This marks the first incident of friction and probing.

Trump’s attempt to “guide” merchant vessels through the strait today failed.

Iran firmly blocked U.S. military efforts to alter the management procedures of the Strait of Hormuz, using the expulsion of the U.S. warship to send a clear message to all shipping companies and insurance firms: Pay attention to notices issued by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.

If Iran allowed the United States to use force to open the strait while giving up this strategic card, it would effectively mean losing the war. Regardless of the cost, Iran will not allow Trump to use military force to force passage through the strait.

Iran has recently announced the defined control zone of the Strait of Hormuz as part of its armed forces’ territorial designation:

From the south: the line between Iran’s Mubarak Mountain and Fujairah Port in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), located to the south;

From the west: the line connecting the westernmost point of Iran’s Qeshm Island and Um Al Quwain in the UAE (see Figure 3).

The UAE is a country with ports on both eastern and western ends of the Strait of Hormuz. If oil is shipped out from Fujairah Port on the eastern side, it would effectively break Iran’s blockade.

The most striking aspect of Iran’s declared control zone is that it fully encompasses both UAE ports—there is no way out!

Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesperson, Baghai, responded to journalists today: “The U.S. is a superpower. Why doesn’t Iran yield to it?”

The spokesperson replied, “We are also a superpower.”
