The Financial Times reported that representatives from France, Germany, and the UK are expected to hold further meetings this week, with Poland and Finland also possibly joining with the NATO Secretary-General, "We are trying to come up with a feasible counter-offer."
Yevheniy Kyslytsya, First Deputy Foreign Minister of Ukraine, who participated in the Geneva talks, said that the most controversial issues include territorial sovereignty and future relations between NATO, Russia, and the United States, which have now been left for the President of the United States and Volodymyr Zelenskyy to resolve.
"The new draft is almost nothing like the previously leaked version, very little of the original remains, and we have formed a solid synthesis. We can compromise on some issues, while the rest will require leadership decisions. The Americans are very attentive, willing to listen to Ukraine's position, and open to suggestions. Almost all of our proposals have been accepted."
