Foreign Policy: China's absence has plunged the United States into deeper risk-laden warfare.

The author is from Norway's Advanced Institute for Chinese Studies, which claims it is precisely China's lack of military presence in the greater Middle East that has lured the United States toward war.

You know what? The author's line of thinking isn't actually all that bizarre!

After the end of the Cold War, the U.S. military indeed did not proactively initiate any wars in regions referred to as "East Asia."

So, this logic actually holds some merit.

That said, if East Asia were truly involved, you Americans wouldn't be happy either.

Westerners' thinking is increasingly becoming more Indian-like these days.
