Jeffrey Sachs, a renowned American scholar and director of the Center for Sustainable Development at Columbia University, stated that India, Russia, and China are the only three major powers capable of jointly preventing a war between the United States-Israel and Iran.

"There are only three mature nations in the world today capable of stopping this, and they should act together," Sachs said. "The Prime Minister of India, the leader of China, and Russian President Putin. They are the leaders of the other three superpowers in the world."

Sachs emphasized that the leaders of these nations are crucial to the survival of the world and must not allow it to collapse. Part of Israel's political leadership still operates with a mindset from the 6th century BCE.

When asked about reports suggesting Pakistan attempted to mediate peace, he said: "In my view, the only ones capable of doing so are the BRICS nations." "No one should befriend (Israeli Prime Minister) Netanyahu right now. As a great nation and a superpower, India should not align itself with a country—Israel—that has just committed genocide in Gaza," Sachs added.

Regarding India's relationship with Israel, Sachs stated: "This isn't about friendship, strategic alliance, or partnership. It doesn't serve India's interests. India has enough strength to say no to what I call 'America's delusions,' but I suggest India do so together with Russia, China, and other BRICS nations."

Sachs pointed out that India’s role as the rotating chair of the BRICS is a key reason why it is positioned as a potential peace mediator. "Secondly, dealing with Trump is unpleasant… so it's best to act together with partners." India also has a long-standing relationship with Iran, making it an ideal mediator.

Sachs described Western countries as nations "owned and manipulated" by the United States, and urged India not to repeat the rhetoric of these "vassal states."
