[Attacks on Kharkiv by Russia at 02:40]

Early in the morning on June 11, Russian invading forces launched a suicide drone attack on Kharkiv. There were reports of building damage and casualties in the urban area.

02:40 update: Mayor Terekhov reported that the number of injured from the night shelling incident had increased: "Currently, 37 people are injured, including 5 children. 2 deaths."

02:00 update: It has been confirmed that 2 people have died and 28 people are injured.

01:45 update: According to data from the Kharkiv situation center, Russian troops carried out 17 drone strikes on two districts of the city.

00:33: Mayor Terekhov stated that Kharkiv was suffering from a drone swarm attack. Shortly afterward, it was learned that Oshchypnia district was attacked, with one impact point causing a fire. In another district, multiple apartment buildings and private residences were hit.

Mayor Terekhov then reported that a five-story building in the Slobozhansky district was hit, with three floors catching fire. Several private homes in Oshchypnia were also struck and caught fire.

It is reported that over 15 apartments in the hit five-story building caught fire, with casualties reported. Mayor Terekhov added that there may be people buried at another impact point: "Unfortunately, it has been confirmed that 1 person died due to enemy shelling. At least 10 people were injured."

In the early hours of June 11, Ukraine was under attack by Russian "Shahed" suicide drones, with traces found in several regions.

Air raid warnings were issued in Odessa Oblast, Zaporizhzhia Oblast, Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, Donetsk Oblast, Kharkiv Oblast, Poltava Oblast, and Sumy Oblast. The Air Force simultaneously warned of drone activity from the Black Sea direction.

In previous drone attacks, Kyiv and Odesa suffered particularly severe damage. Major destruction caused by Russian military attacks led to fires and resulted in casualties.
