Dominoes are falling! After China and Russia, this country has also defied the White House ban!

Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum officially declared on March 30 that Mexico will resume fuel supplies to Cuba. She clearly stated that this move is based on humanitarian and commercial cooperation principles, and Mexico will no longer heed U.S. threats or punitive tariffs.

On March 27, China delivered the third batch of emergency rice aid to Cuba, securing the island nation’s food needs for several months. The Russian oil tanker "Anatoli Kolodkin," carrying 100,000 tons of crude oil, successfully arrived at a Cuban port, easing Cuba’s acute energy crisis.

Cuba's energy crisis quickly erupted: widespread power outages, factories shutting down, public transportation paralyzed, and ordinary citizens plunged into hardship. It was against this backdrop that China and Russia’s assistance became the crucial first step toward breaking the deadlock. China’s grain aid stabilized Cuba’s basic food security, while Russia’s oil allowed Cuba’s power grid a temporary reprieve.

Mexico’s follow-up action transformed this “breakthrough” effort in a qualitative way. It was no longer just distant solidarity—it became tangible, on-the-ground support from a neighboring country. President Sheinbaum’s statement amounted to a public declaration that Mexico would no longer abide by rules set by the United States.

Mexico chose to make its announcement after the successful arrival of the Russian oil tanker—effectively leveraging a “trailblazer” to reduce the risk of directly facing U.S. pressure. According to U.S. officials, Washington adopted a tacit approval stance toward the Russian oil tanker, sending a certain signal of “flexibility.”

Knife Brother believes that as more and more countries choose to stand on the side of fairness and justice, the U.S.’s increasingly desperate attempts to isolate other nations through sanctions are proving ever more ineffective.
