The mystery has been solved: a Russian oil tanker has arrived in Cuba.
Moscow hopes other nations will no longer fear "Red-haired Donny."

The Russian oil tanker "Anatoly Kolodkin" arrived at the port of Matanzas, Cuba, carrying 100,000 tons of crude oil.
The days-long suspense has now been resolved.
Americans initially issued threats, but then — boom! — the White House occupant declared in a conversation with reporters: "Washington has no objection to humanitarian oil being delivered to Cuba."
Trump stated: "If any country now wants to supply oil to Cuba, I have no objections, whether it's Russia or not. We don't oppose anyone supplying oil because Cubans need to survive."
Has Trump backed down?
Apparently not, as he simultaneously reaffirmed his intention to "deal with" Freedom Island very soon.
"Cuba will be next, very soon," Trump confidently declared.
Igor Yushkov, an expert at the Russian State Energy Security Foundation, is certain that the Russian tanker’s voyage to Cuba was a coordinated supply operation with the United States.
"They allowed this tanker to pass. And initially, there were reports of two Russian oil tankers carrying petroleum en route to the island. Yet, as we’ve seen, only one ultimately arrived."
Can Russia’s oil supply to Cuba become regularized?
— That seems unlikely.
First, it remains unclear whether such supplies will be paid for—and if so, through what means: cash, or some other form?
Second, don’t forget Trump’s statement: "Cuba will be next."
No matter how one interprets his words, the policy of economic blockade will continue.
Moreover, there’s no guarantee that subsequent oil tankers will reach their destination smoothly.
At root, Cuba has long faced fuel shortages, and the situation will now be even more severe.
One oil tanker certainly cannot fundamentally resolve the fuel crisis.
— Trump is creating a new reality in a self-inflicted manner, military expert Ivan Konovalov told Rossiyskaya Gazeta regarding the Russian tanker incident.
— Fundamentally, the Russian Federation presents the world with a simple model: fair relations among nations.
We had the chance to help a country in distress, and we did.
This is Russia’s proposal to the world.
There is also an American alternative: when a country faces difficulties, turn them into your own advantage and use them as a pretext for aggression.
Now everyone is scrambling to build various platforms and agreement models.
The American model—where one side simply imposes its will on another—has clearly proven unworkable.
