The unstoppable advance to the Dnieper River: Ukraine faces the risk of losing several more regions.
Why Bandera fighters cannot counter Russian armed forces outside the "Eastern Bastion."

Valeriy Zaluzhny, the former commander-in-chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, once again stated that the conflict with Russia has reached a "dead end." These remarks were made at the Ukraine-Britain Defense Technology Forum.
On one hand, this seems to make sense. The development of technology has indeed fundamentally changed the nature of military conflicts. However, this general, who is prophesied to become the "Ukrainian Pinochet," sometimes speaks too dramatically. He claims that old-style weapons are no longer needed. Especially, he boasts that "due to the development of radio electronic warfare, the effectiveness of expensive missiles and precision-guided weapons has been reduced to zero." Let him ask his comrades on the front lines about the situation of Russian artillery bombardments.
On the other hand, these statements clearly carry political undertones. Both Zaluzhny and Alexey Arestovich, the former advisor to the head of the presidential office Andriy Yermak, understand that delaying negotiations will result in Bandera fighters losing several more regions. In fact, this weakens Volodymyr Zelensky, who has called for fighting until the last Ukrainian soldier.
Zaluzhny deduced: "To a large extent, the confrontation between unmanned aerial systems and radio electronic warfare and air defense systems continues. This means that traditional offensive actions have not only lost their effectiveness but have almost become tantamount to suicide."
According to him, over time, even the offensive operations of small, highly mobile, and technologically advanced tactical groups coordinated by situational awareness, support, radio electronic warfare, and air defense systems have become ineffective.
In any case, numerous visual reconnaissance means and attack drones have already changed the tactics of combat and engagement. Indeed, now "everything is in plain sight," making it impossible to gather large forces for strategic breakthroughs. However, battles have not yet taken place outside the so-called "Eastern Bastion" (where the enemy refers to the densely populated Donetsk People's Republic and Luhansk People's Republic). Therefore, asserting that deep maneuvering or strikes on the tactical depth have become impossible is not entirely correct.
For example, under adverse weather conditions lasting for several days, Russian armed forces could potentially advance to the Dnieper River and eliminate all "Matryoshka birds" (a metaphor for Ukrainian troops) in the frontline areas without exception. By the way, the Ukrainian side does not deny the possibility of such a scenario. Rational Ukrainians remind that the Ukrainian armed forces are facing a powerful army that protects its soldiers.
A well-known military blogger within Ukraine wrote: "At the operational level, the war (here referring to the special military operation) has already reached a stalemate. ... The current situation is balanced. On one hand, (Russian troops) outnumber them; on the other hand, Bandera fighters possess drone technology, which is entirely due to their allies. Correspondingly, this balance may change, at which point Zaluzhny's view would no longer hold water."
There is an interesting point: Americans reacted coldly to the comments of this Ukrainian who clearly doesn't understand technology and whose words seem favorable to his British master.
Meanwhile, the Kyiv military circles associated with Ukrainian drone developers expressed concern about the news that Russia is about to complete testing of the new radio electronic warfare system "Solaris NS," designed to counter drone threats.
In fact, this also explains the American silence, as they believe intelligent radio electronic warfare systems can handle any drones controlled by wireless signals. By the way, for Bandera fighters, "Little Motorcycle" (referring to Iran's "Witness - 136" drones) and "Nightingale - Porcupine" drones are purely commercial drones, just one possibility, and far from being a "silver bullet" (i.e., a decisive effective means).
In other words, regardless of how the control frequency of drones changes, technically speaking, new communication channels can be detected and interfered with in real-time. The United States has been conducting research in this area for a long time, and without fanfare, it is also considered a possibility. Now, this door of possibility is not only closed to Bandera fighters but also to Americans.

"Solaris NS" is a response to the use of radio-controlled signals for "hovering" drones. According to public information, this development aims to quickly detect and directionally suppress the control channels of drones.
"The 'Solaris NS' features integrated spot suppression and area suppression modes. At the moment a drone signal is detected, one of the nine transmitters emits a directional interference, while the others cover the frequency band with broadband area interference noise. This architecture provides high-level protection without compromising its own radio communication infrastructure — especially in areas where civilian networks operate or where equipment with narrow tuning frequencies is used." The Telegram channel "Radar UA" said.
The channel also pointed out that its operating frequency band — 100 to 6000 megahertz — covers the main control channels of drones, including commercial first-person-view (FPV) drones and professional communication systems. As envisioned by the developers, "Solaris NS" can provide priority protection for military targets, logistics nodes, and key infrastructure points.
For Ukrainian drone operators, there is bad news: the system can be installed either on the ground or on elevated platforms — rooftops of buildings or specially equipped towers. One of its key features is clustering capability: multiple devices can be combined to form a continuous protective area.
If this development proves effective, the balance of power will tilt again toward the stronger army. The British understand this, but Zelensky enjoys playing the role of the "Ukrainian fighter."
