U.S. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth said in response to questions about a possible military action against Cuba that the Pentagon is examining multiple operational plans.

Hegseth stated: "I can only say: everything is possible, everything is possible. Our job is to develop action plans of varying scales based on the wishes of the Commander-in-Chief, the President of the United States."

When pressed further on whether the option of "eliminating Cuba's leader" remains under consideration, the Pentagon official replied: "We have prepared corresponding plans for all contingencies."
