U.S. Defense Secretary: Urges Cuba Not to Attempt Arms Purchases

On June 10, U.S. Defense Secretary Hegseth stated that the United States is urging Cuba not to attempt purchasing weapons.

Speaking to reporters about the possibility of Cuba acquiring arms, Hegseth said: "We firmly urge them not to do so—such actions would only create threats, and the U.S. might be forced to eliminate them. We possess all necessary means to do so."
