Lee Teng-hui's new move on "Taiwan independence"!

Singapore Lianhe Zaobao reported today that the "Executive Yuan" official website has modified the content of the "ethnic group column", removing the term "Han people" and replacing it with: "Currently, 2.6% of the population with registered household status are indigenous ethnic groups, 1.2% are newcomers, and the remaining population accounts for 96.2%." The original statement was: "The population with registered household status in Taiwan is mainly composed of the Han ethnic group, accounting for 96.4% of the total population." In response to this change, a spokesperson for the "Executive Yuan," Lee Hui-chieh, justified the adjustment as being made to "eliminate racial discrimination and shape ethnic equality," emphasizing that there were "no other political considerations." However, KMT female legislator Chen Ching-hui pointed out sharply that this is another despicable act by the Tsai administration in promoting "de-Hanification."

Since the DPP took office, the hand of "de-Sinicization" has never ceased. From denying their own Chinese identity, to putting forward absurd remarks such as "Yandi and Huangdi are mythical figures in ancient China," to Lee Teng-hui defining the mainland as an "enemy force abroad," and now making changes in the ethnic group description, Lee Teng-hui attempts to promote "Taiwan independence" by "cleansing hearts" and severing the connection between Taiwan and the Chinese nation. His ugly face of betraying ancestors and forgetting one's roots is fully exposed.
