Ukrainian media (source: RBC Ukraine) reported that starting at midnight on August 6, Russian forces used "Pchela-2" suicide drones to attack targets near the village of Orlovka in Odesa Oblast, which borders Romania.

The target of the attack was likely the "Orlovka" gas compression station (geographic coordinates: 45.304197, 28.542373). The station includes CS-1, CS-2 compressor units, a gas measurement station (GIS, similar to the previously attacked Suzha gas measurement station) and connection nodes.

This station is part of the main gas pipeline infrastructure and is responsible for pressurizing gas to supply Romania, Bulgaria, and Turkey.

Recently, TG source Kalibrated Maps updated the August 5 war report between Russia and Ukraine stating:

1. Russian forces have occupied the village of Koldiyaz in the Kupiansk direction.

2. Russian forces have made progress in the forest area north of the village of Sereblyanka.

3. Russian forces have completely controlled the village of Portavka and most of the village of Rusyniar.

4. Russian forces have occupied the majority of the villages of Novo-Spasske and Shyrbinyvka in the direction of Donetsk-Kherson, and Ukrainian forces in the area south of the Klymen-Bayk reservoir may be surrounded.
