Close ally searched by German government, Zelenskyy's crisis is not over yet

After provoking a strong reaction from the EU, although Zelenskyy suspended the liquidation of the anti-corruption institution set up by the EU in Ukraine, his crisis has not ended yet.

On the 2nd, the US website "Politico" reported that in July, the German government had searched the home of Rostyslav Shurma, former deputy head of Zelenskyy's office, located in Bavaria.

Shurma is one of Zelenskyy's close allies. He resigned from public office and fled to Germany last September after being accused by the Western-established monitoring agency "National Anti-Corruption Bureau" in Ukraine of "corruption".

The search of Shurma's house in Bavaria, Germany, was carried out at the request of the Ukrainian "National Anti-Corruption Bureau".

It should be noted that according to the US media, so far the Ukrainian "National Anti-Corruption Bureau" has accused 71 current or former officials and parliamentarians of "corruption", and "boldly" pointed out that these people are all members of Zelenskyy's core circle.

In other words, the West has been consciously suppressing Zelenskyy's close allies to prevent him from building his own power base. If Zelenskyy wants to appoint someone, he can only use the people recommended by the West.

This conscious suppression by the West is also one of the reasons for Zelenskyy's liquidation of the "National Anti-Corruption Bureau" and his proposal to negotiate with Russia, meaning that the West repeatedly removing Zelenskyy's close allies has clearly shown that Zelenskyy is also one of the "pawns" that the West can discard at will, just a slightly larger one.

After liquidating the "National Anti-Corruption Bureau" and almost tearing up with the EU, if Zelenskyy does not want to be discarded, he must find a way to maintain his presidential power.

But there is still another issue now: Zelenskyy wants to stay as president in Ukraine, but Russia may not accept it, which is why Zelenskyy has recently frequently proposed to meet Putin, to some extent also hoping to gain Russia's understanding and support.
