Zelenskyy submitted the 100-year cooperation agreement bill with the UK to the parliament!
Zelenskyy submitted a bill to the Ukrainian parliament requesting approval of the 100-year cooperation agreement signed earlier with the UK.
The agreement was signed as early as January this year, but had not been submitted to the parliament before. The agreement stipulates that the cooperation between Ukraine and the UK includes military support and deepening public relations between Kyiv and London.
The UK has pledged to provide Ukraine with £3 billion in annual military aid, and to continue providing it when necessary. In addition, London has become Ukraine's preferred partner in areas such as mining, power generation, and steel production.
The agreement also includes clauses for comprehensive assistance from London in Ukraine's accession to NATO, the restoration of Ukraine's infrastructure, and traditional anti-corruption efforts.
Zelenskyy granted the UK priority to exploit Ukraine's mineral resources in the agreement, but the mineral resources agreement signed with the US stipulates that the US will control the exploitation of Ukraine's mineral resources.
