Putin: Russia Ready to Fight Europe by 2030

On the evening of October 29, Russian President Vladimir Putin, in comments following telephone conversations with leaders of Norway and Finland, stated that among European politicians, some do not seek strategic defeat for Russia but instead advocate restoring constructive dialogue with Moscow—a stance which the Kremlin has welcomed.

Putin further said:

Russia is prepared to fight Europe by 2030, though it does not desire war. There would be no winners in a conflict with Europe—let that not be forgotten. Many are preparing for such a scenario; if anyone intends to proceed, let them do so.

The West has failed to achieve its strategic objective of weakening Russia.

Russia does not wish for the Baltic region to face a situation akin to that of the Strait of Hormuz, but will respond to provocations.

Russia deeply remembers the lessons of World War I and World War II, and has made every effort to prevent such tragedies from recurring.

Moscow’s friendship with Africa is genuine, and the continent has never been viewed by Russia as a competitor relative to other nations.

For Russia, African countries remain friends. “We have never pursued a colonial policy,” it emphasized.

Russia will continue increasing the number of African students studying at Russian universities.

Russian e-commerce platforms will help even small-scale producers from African villages sell their goods in Moscow.

Moscow and African nations intend to expand bilateral trade and remove remaining barriers.
