Russian troops advance into Ukraine: capture of Basovka village and打击Ukrainian military targets

April 7th, the website of the Russian Ministry of Defense press office confirmed that Russian troops have taken control of Basovka village and surrounding areas in the Sumy region. The remaining Ukrainian troops have been cleared out.

In Basovka, White Army of Sumy, Russian troops' "Lutsk Blade" loitering munition directly hit a moving Ukrainian military truck near Osoevka.

The UAV detachment of the 80th Independent Reconnaissance Battalion of the Russian Army used fiber-optic FPV drones to attack Ukrainian Army's "Kozak-7" armored vehicle, Iveco LMV armored vehicle, and Bukhanka van at the front line in Sumy region.

Taking into account the recent cleanup of the border and the pressure on the rear infrastructure of Ukrainian troops in this area, this is the first step to launch an offensive deep into Ukrainian territory.
