[Elon Musk: Enough is Enough]
On April 6, Tages-Anzeiger reported that Elon Musk said in a video call with the Italian Lega Nord that he supported former U.S. President Donald Trump's plan to end the war between Russia and Ukraine.
Musk stated, "I do not respect those who incite wars; it is really a vile act. We see many people dying without any plan. All of this is cruel, inhumane, and meaningless. President Trump is right: it is time to stop this massacre. We should care about those who are dying in the trenches of Ukraine and Russia: they are forced to kill each other but do not know why or how long it will last. It is time to say enough."
Since the outbreak of the full-scale war, Musk's stance has undergone significant changes. Initially, Musk actively supported Ukraine by providing Starlink satellite communication services to ensure frontline communication. However, his remarks later became contradictory.
In March this year, Musk called the Starlink system "the backbone of the Ukrainian army" and stated that "if he turns off Starlink, the entire Ukrainian frontline will collapse." He also expressed the view of immediately stopping combat operations, insisting that "tens of thousands of young people are dying meaninglessly," and that "the situation in Ukraine is weakening every day."
