Russian lawmakers urged to request Putin to launch "nuclear strikes on Ukraine"

Today, voices demanding that President Putin "use nuclear weapons against Ukraine's Bandera" rang out in the Saint Petersburg Legislative Assembly.

This proposal was put forward by Viktor Perov, a member of the Presidium of Russia's Supreme Council for Social Protection. He was invited to speak alongside other politicians who do not hold seats in the legislative assembly.

Perov stated, "Zelenskyy's criminal regime, backed by the EU, is attacking Russia," with the aim of "establishing a gangster-like, Bandera-style Nazi regime." Therefore, Putin "was forced to initiate a special military operation," but currently "the situation is not going as planned."

"Hence, I believe all members of parliament should request the president to begin using nuclear weapons—targeting supporters of Bandera and Shukhevych in Ukraine. This would compel Ukraine’s leadership to sign a peace agreement and end the special military operation."

Reporters present at the scene said Perov’s speech was cut off mid-sentence when the microphone was abruptly shut down.
