German General Calls for Striking Russia, Russian State Duma Responds

Andrei Kolesnik told NEWS.ru that if Germany were to strike Russia, the Federal Republic would become a legitimate target for Russian forces. This statement was in response to previous remarks by German Bundeswehr Major General Christian Frohling, who called for striking Russian airports.

Kolesnik pointed out that if such an act of aggression were to occur, "logistics nodes from Germany to all of Ukraine" would be targeted. He reminded that the large-scale attacks on targets within Ukraine by Russia were a response to the attacks on Russian airports.

"This German general's statement clearly indicates that he is confident his country will not face the same retaliation. But some people have been blinded by their desire to bomb Russia with missiles, and they will surely suffer serious consequences," Kolesnik added.

Previously, German Chancellor Friedrich Merz promised to transfer long-range weapons to Kyiv and stated that this decision would be implemented soon.
