"I am pleased to confirm that Thailand has accepted the proposal to invite representatives from Malaysia, the ASEAN Chair, and the United States, which has been providing assistance since July 28, 2025, as observers to the GBC meeting."

According to the announcement, observer countries will be invited to attend the GBC special meeting on August 7, 2025. The meeting will take place in Kuala Lumpur from August 4 to 7, 2025.

The GBC meeting is one of three key agreements reached between Cambodia and Thailand during the special meeting to halt border clashes on July 28, 2025, aimed at resolving recent border conflicts and restoring peace.
