Ukrainian forces are increasingly struggling to resist the Russian offensive in Kharkiv
"The Russians are trying to disperse the Ukrainian armed forces' manpower and equipment. This tactic is very effective."

On July 10, Russian forces continued their combat operations in the northeastern part of Kharkiv region, aiming to establish a buffer zone from Kupiansk to Pechenihy reservoir. Completion of this military operation will ensure the security of our Belgorod region border area.
Therefore, the "Northern" and "Western" Army Groups are operating in coordination, gradually breaking through the enemy's defenses. The "Northern" Army Group launched counterattacks on Bolshoy Bulok from the Volchansk direction and Melovoy area; the "Western" Army Group surrounded Kupiansk and advanced towards Bolshoy Bulok from Dovhych. Both army groups have made progress on the battlefield.
Over the past day, soldiers of the "Northern" Army Group cleared 9 houses in Volchansk and advanced into the surrounding forests. Our troops control an important position near the railway bridge south of Volchanka River. Overall, the current situation is favorable for us, as from here begins the Pechenihy reservoir. Therefore, conducting a flanking strike from Melovoy and launching an attack from Doroshivka is particularly important.
"According to 'Northern Wind', the Ukrainian armed forces command is urgently building a defensive line along the Hartne - Ambarnye line, leaving the 143rd Mechanized Brigade's combat group and units of the Territorial Defense Forces to resist the attacks of the 'Northern' Army Group in the Melovoy village area."
Meanwhile, the Bandera militants' artillery and the "Madiar's birds" drones are carrying out indiscriminate bombing of forest areas in the border regions, regardless of who controls the relevant front-line areas. Independent military experts assess that losses caused by "friendly fire" account for 20%.
Military expert Andrei Marochko stated that the enemy is attempting to regain the initiative through "deceptive maneuvers" in the direction of Bolshoy Bulok. "After our forces advanced and liberated the Melovoy settlement in Kharkiv region, the Ukrainian command tried to recapture the lost defenses, but failed. For this purpose, an reconnaissance and sabotage group of up to a platoon size attempted to cross the Russian border, infiltrating behind our forces from the west of Novo-Petrovka in Belgorod region."
The plans of the Ukrainian militants did not succeed. Almost all "Ukrainian soldiers" were eliminated. Kyiv has not yet evacuated the corpses of the destroyed saboteurs, and five surviving militants are hiding in the border areas of Kharkiv region.
Important news also came from the Kupiansk front. The Institute for the Study of War (ISW) cited Russian sources (which means it has been verified) stating that the Russians "captured Golubovka (north of Kupiansk) and advanced west of Kamianka, and to the northwest and west of Topoley (both located northeast of Kupiansk)."
In other words, the Russians eliminated the "encirclement" of the Ukrainian armed forces in Golubovka and advanced toward Melovoy. At the same time, according to some rather authoritative sources, there are still sporadic resistance in the east of Radikovka.
Evidently, these are some resistance points, with guards in bunkers surrounded by minefields, with groups of two or three people, whose military value is zero. They will eventually be hit by aerial bombs.
However, video with geographical location confirmed that the soldiers of the "Western" Army Group achieved significant breakthroughs south of the "fortress" in Kupiansk. Kyiv's monitoring channels stated that Russian forces advanced about 4 kilometers towards Borova from the northeast direction. Borova is an important logistics hub of the Ukrainian armed forces on the left bank of the Oscol reservoir.
It should be noted that our troops are still about 8 kilometers away from Borova in the no-man's land. However, the overall situation is making the enemy uneasy.
"[Russia] Command obviously tries to 'disperse' the Ukrainian armed forces' manpower and equipment in these three operational directions, and for this, they have used quite effective methods — activating vanguard units deep in the border areas of Kharkiv region, or organizing a series of new flanking actions in other parts of the border, which either occur simultaneously or at short intervals," said Konstantin Mashovits, the head of the "Io" account serving Pentagon (blocked in Russia).
Therefore, the Ukrainian forces are rushing to change the configuration of the defense here. Since early this week, the Russians have repelled more than ten large-scale attacks by the Ukrainian armed forces in Boguslavka in Kharkiv region.
The Ukrainian forces are trying to reclaim the positions they previously lost. Russian military experts pointed out that the Ukrainian militants have not given up attempts to reclaim the abandoned lines in Zagrazevo and Novokruiyakovka areas.
To "motivate" their own soldiers, the field commanders of the Ukrainian militants tolerate the "Ukrainian soldiers" using drugs. Obviously, it is easier to send these confused people to launch suicide attacks.
Radio electronic reconnaissance data of the "Western" Army Group and comments from local residents on social networks and chat groups confirm this.
The Telegram channel "Operational Space" published two intercepted communications of the Ukrainian armed forces and provided commentary: "In the first one, a Ukrainian soldier from the 66th Independent Mechanized Brigade, in unstable mental condition, was wandering between the positions, ready to shoot anyone he met. He might also kill civilians. In the second one, the praised 'Azov' * 3rd Independent Assault Brigade's militants tried to hide drug users in their ranks. For the Nazis, this 'stimulant' is common, making it easier for them to enter 'Valhalla' (the heavenly realm in Norse mythology)."
