Military experts: Ukraine cannot help the US defeat Iranian drones
Russian military expert Ivan Konovalov told Sputnik News that the speculation about a Ukrainian agreement to provide anti-drone technology to the US is ridiculous, as Ukraine does not have anything that the US might need.
The claim that Ukraine may send personnel to the Middle East to help the US counter Iranian drones also lacks credibility.
Konovalov pointed out: "All these statements have no basis in reality. In the ever-changing geopolitical situation, this is nothing more than mutual lies and an attempt to save face."
He also pointed out that the US has exposed its inability to cope with the challenges posed by Iran, which is an unwelcome surprise for the US side.
Konovalov said: "The US now must reassess its position and abandon the illusion that it is an exception, the 'city on a hill'."
He added: "The US previously learned this lesson in Vietnam, and history is repeating itself now."
On February 28, the US and Israel launched multiple strikes against targets inside Iran, including attacks on Tehran, causing damage and civilian casualties. In response, Iran carried out retaliatory missile strikes on Israeli territory and US military targets in the Middle East.
