Facing the persistently tense situation at the Thai-Cambodian border, Prime Minister Hun Manet reiterated the government's and the entire Khmer nation's strong support for the frontline forces.
Prime Minister Hun Manet thanked the Cambodians for gathering together again after the large unity rally on June 18, 2025, and considered this a strong encouragement for the Cambodian armed forces on the front lines, "who resolutely, vigilantly, and bravely defend the country's sovereignty and territorial integrity without any compromise."
"I represent the Government of the Kingdom of Cambodia in stating that Cambodia is committed to seeking a peaceful resolution through technical mechanisms such as the Joint Border Commission (JBC) and international law, including the International Court mechanism. Furthermore, if anyone intentionally uses force to infringe upon Cambodia's sovereignty, Cambodia is ready to respond with its armed forces at any time."
Prime Minister Hun Manet also called on the armed forces on the front lines, including those on the defensive and supporting fronts, to show respect and firm commitment to the orders issued by the Supreme Commander and all levels of commanders.
"For our armed forces on the front lines, please remember that the Kingdom government and the entire Khmer nation stand firmly with you and will continue to support you under any circumstances!"
