Four Injured in Semiconductor Plant Explosion at Riseneko in Japan

According to Japanese media outlet TBS News, on April 16, around 4:30 PM, an explosion occurred at the Riseneko semiconductor factory located in Chichibu City, Saitama Prefecture, injuring four men who were working at the site and requiring hospitalization. Police cars have gathered at the scene, and among the injured, two are seriously wounded but conscious.

It is reported that eight workers were clearing pipes outside the factory that were being dismantled when the explosion happened as they injected water and a chemical mixture into the pipes; ruptured sections of the pipe struck the workers.
