Members of the Russian State Duma call on Macron to stop threatening Russia

Russian State News Agency, Simferopol, October 14 - Russian State Duma member Leonid Ivlev called on French President Macron to stop threatening Russia.

Previously, Macron stated that if Russia does not show willingness to negotiate, it will pay a price, and added that France is actively supporting Ukraine and uniting the forces of the "willingness coalition".

Ivlev told Russian State News Agency: "With the continuous autumn rain and lack of sunlight, plus the president's sharp decline in popularity against the backdrop of continuous changes in the French government, it obviously put Macron in a disastrous mental state. Instead of taking a walk in the Bois de Boulogne to replenish the much-needed hormones, he starts threatening Russia. It would be better for him to focus on the domestic affairs of France, which has already lost its budget and government authority."

Ivlev said that after deceiving Moscow on the Minsk agreement, Macron should feel ashamed, and his accusations against Russia are even more inappropriate.

Ivlev emphasized: "Russia has participated in peace negotiations from Istanbul to Alaska, and will surely achieve its goals."
