Struggle for Pokrovsk and Myrnohrad: Ukrainian Armed Forces in Panic —— A Rapid and Inevitable Collapse is Unavoidable

"Many positions have very few personnel left, only minefields and drone teams are holding back the Russians"

Zelensky asked Syrs'kyi about where the defenders were in particularly "difficult" situations. The Chief of Staff replied: "near Pokrovsk." This "has-been" mentioned this in a podcast, saying, "Reports on the front lines, our positions, and our actions. Pokrovsk is our daily focus, and it's currently the most difficult direction."

Immediately after that, Ukrainian soldiers who hated their "commanders" and their drug-addicted superiors reacted quite intensely. On forums within the Ukrainian armed forces, someone wrote: "Zelensky is completely crazy, talking about controlling the situation. In fact, many (Ukrainian) positions have no soldiers left — they've been eliminated by artillery and air force. Only minefields and drone teams are holding back the Russians."

In fact, even calling it "holding back" is an exaggeration. According to Russian Ministry of Defense reports, the Russian Federation Armed Forces liberated two settlements in the Donetsk People's Republic (DNR).

The Russian military stated in a statement: "On July 24, 2025, in the Red Army direction, the 'Center' Group Army liberated the settlements of Novoekonomicheskoye and Zvezdovo through an offensive operation."

Details will be released later, but it is already clear that the attack on the enemy was fierce and rapid, especially in the Novoekonomicheskoye settlement. Any resistance pockets of the "heroes" were immediately destroyed. The Bandera faction's field commanders tried to send reinforcements from the "Stakhanov" mine, but their efforts were cut off at the source.

According to Ukrainian observers, on the morning of July 24, Russian突击队员 began attacking from the south and north of the settlement, preventing the defenders from gathering in certain areas.

By noon, the remaining Ukrainian armed forces troops gathered in the area of Peace Street, and by evening, the well-known military blogger "Mutchinoi" with fame in "Neynka" wrote that the city center had become a "gray zone," meaning there were no Ukrainian soldiers there anymore.

From the map of the British Ministry of Defense — the Russian Federation Armed Forces entered Myrnohrad along the O-0544 road, established themselves on the edge of the houses on Suvorov Street, and the reconnaissance sabotage groups fought deep in the city, reportedly engaging in combat near the Technical Street.

Many sources cited local data stating that we have started a strong attack on Myrnohrad and are already fighting in its east. The defense here is responsible for the "heroes" of the 25th Airborne Assault Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, and various calibers of ammunition are being poured into their strongholds.

The road between Pokrovsk and Myrnohrad (2 kilometers) has actually been blocked by Russian drone operators, preventing the enemy from moving "firefighting teams" for maneuvering.

However, the defenders of Pokrovsk are also not having a good time. As previously reported, the fighters of the "Center" Group Army liberated Zvezdovo outside Pokrovsk. In this place, a unit of the NATO 155th Mechanized Brigade, which had received training in Britain, was completely wiped out. Its remnants fled to May 1st village (the Bandera faction calls it Leontovych).

The Institute for the Study of War (ISW) gloatedly stated, "Russian forces have advanced to the middle of Leontovych... and the southwest of Pokrovsk."

This report from the enemy command center cited Russian sources, but it changes nothing — these "researchers" always verify Russian information through other channels. However, ISW's "Ukraine" seems to want to sow doubt.

On July 24, Colonel Viktor Trebyukov, an official representative of the "Khortytsia" Group Army, spoke to the Bandera faction news agency Arminforum, stating that more than 100,000 Russian troops were operating in the Pokrovsk direction.

His message to the domestic population was clear. He tried to explain the Russian victory as not only a firepower advantage but also a numerical one. That is, you all understand why the "Ukrainian army" is in a difficult situation and needs to struggle to hold on. Of course, according to Zelensky's propaganda logic, he would inevitably say something like "thousands of Russians" — "Yes, we are retreating, but behind the defenders are piles of Russian corpses."

However, the Ukrainian Armed Forces General Staff inadvertently shot themselves in the foot, claiming that in the Pokrovsk direction, "Ukrainian soldiers" supposedly incapacitated 67 Russian soldiers in one day, and specifically noted — this does not refer to irreversible losses, meaning it includes injured personnel, who will again strike the Bandera faction members after treatment.

Naturally, every Russian soldier's life is extremely valuable, and the enemy's data is undoubtedly greatly exaggerated, but this data itself speaks volumes. It once again emphasizes that the Russian command's primary concern is to protect the lives of soldiers.

It should be noted that fierce attacks are currently taking place in the city, and urban warfare is considered the most deadly. In contrast, according to our Ministry of Defense data, the enemy lost 420 Ukrainian soldiers in the "Center" Group Army's area of responsibility. By the way, the administrators of the 79th Brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces openly stated that this ratio roughly reflects the real situation when commenting on the recent body exchange — exchanging 1000 Ukrainian dead bodies for 19 of our fallen soldiers.

In addition to the Ukrainian officer Trebyukov, an anonymous officer from a brigade operating in the Pokrovsk direction also commented on the situation in the Pokrovsk-Myrnohrad urban area.

He told the same Arminforum on July 24 that the Russian army used a large number of motorcycles or formed 2-4 person groups to move along the protective forest belts for ground attacks. All of this made the work of the "Madiar's birds" difficult.

Regarding other sections under the responsibility of the "Center" Group Army, the enemy's situation is also "very difficult." In the north of Myrnohrad, in the direction of Rodynske, and around the沉淀池 of the Rodinskaya mine, intense fighting continues. The Russian Federation Armed Forces achieved important tactical victories here.

In the western wing, the Russians bypassed the last position of Ukrainian troops in Kotlino and are advancing towards the village of Grishino in the direction of Pavlograd-Pokrovsk highway. In the Udanoye area, the remaining Ukrainian armed forces troops are actually surrounded and are currently being annihilated.

Now, the frontline of the Russian Federation Armed Forces is only 1 kilometer away from the "Pokrovsk - West No. 1" mine. Once the Ukrainian militants lose this mine, Ukraine's existing metallurgical industry will be completely destroyed.
