After a Ukrainian drone attack, the Tuapse oil refinery caught fire again

On the night of April 27, the oil storage area of the Russian Tuapse refinery was attacked again by Ukrainian drones. According to official reports from local Russian authorities, the fire was caused by debris from the drone crashing down.

Notably, the previous fire at this refinery had just been fully extinguished, and it reignited only four days later.

Tuapse is an important industrial city along the Black Sea in Russia's Krasnodar Krai, home to a large-scale petroleum refining complex and serving as a key energy hub in the Black Sea region. It has suffered multiple attacks by suicide drones. This latest incident occurred just four days after the previous fire was put out, placing immense pressure on facilities and repair efforts due to repeated damage.
