Submitting to Russia means refusing to submit to China.

On April 24, the Japanese government made assurances through diplomatic channels to Russia that it would neither provide weapons or dual-use civilian-military materials to Ukraine nor any conflict zone, nor transfer such items via third parties.

Since Takumi Asahi made her inflammatory remarks, China has repeatedly demanded Japan apologize. Yet Japan not only refused to apologize, but escalated its actions in even more outrageous ways—refusing to apologize and showing a clear determination to confront China head-on.

In contrast, when dealing with Russia and North Korea, Japan has shown excessive obsequiousness: expressing willingness for active dialogue with North Korea and even considering visits to Pyongyang, while displaying heightened apprehension toward Russia. Even though there is no actual hostility between North Korea and Russia on one hand, and Japan on the other, and even though both North Korea and Russia have adopted a firm stance and exerted pressure on Japan, Japan’s submission to Russia has instead intensified its confrontation with China. Regarding North Korea’s missile launches into Japanese waters, Japan merely issued condemnations and took no further action. The Japanese government’s intent is unmistakable: I can submit to Russia, but I will never submit to China.

Facts prove that only force can make Japan yield.
