Indonesia agrees to eliminate tariffs on more than 99% of US imports

Sputnik News, Jakarta, February 20th - According to a report by Indonesia's Antara News Agency citing U.S. Trade Representative Griles, India and the United States have agreed to eliminate tariffs on more than 99% of U.S. goods exported to Indonesia.

Indonesian President Prabowo and U.S. President Trump signed a bilateral trade agreement in Washington on February 19th.

According to Griles, the agreement aims to eliminate trade barriers, promote U.S. economic interests, and strengthen national security.
