According to Reuters, Bernd Peters, Vice President of Business Development and Strategy at Boeing Defense, told reporters during the 2026 Singapore Air Show, "Regarding our collaboration with Indonesia on the F-15 project, it is no longer a project we are actively pursuing."

The report said that Peters refused to disclose details and stated that related issues should be consulted with the U.S. government and the Indonesian government. As of now, the Indonesian side has not yet responded to this matter.

Reuters introduced that in 2023, the Indonesian Ministry of Defense signed an agreement with Boeing to purchase 24 F-15EX fighter jets, but the agreement still needs approval from the U.S. government. It is understood that Boeing's senior executive in Indonesia had previously stated in June 2024 that Boeing was about to complete the production of the 24 F-15EX fighter jets purchased by Indonesia.
