Peangtarn, in her capacity as the leader of the Pheu Thai Party, is guiding the government's water resource management in Thailand!
Thai Prime Minister Peangtarn, along with her cabinet team, visited the Nakhon Ratchasima province to inspect issues related to water resource management and soil erosion in the fields, and to assist local authorities in coordinating the handling of these matters.
At 3:00 p.m. on July 11, the Prime Minister, Minister of Culture Peangtarn, was accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Digital Economy and Society Batsa to visit the site in Ban Rai village, number 1, Tha Ang district, Chokchai area, Nakhon Ratchasima province, to understand the water resource management issues in this region.
More than 300 local villagers welcomed Peangtarn's arrival and introduced the flooding problem caused by the Muen River during the flood season. Every year, during the rainy season, the Muen River has a large volume of water, eroding the river embankments and submerging the area. The locals mainly rely on the Muen River for rice planting, but the river is difficult to control during the rainy season.
On the Muen River, a narrow bridge is currently under construction. For 30 years, the villagers have wanted to expand this bridge to facilitate transportation and speed up drainage.
Peangtarn stated that Deputy Prime Minister Batsa is responsible for water management, and he also came to this area today. The problems raised by the villagers will be proposed to the government and relevant agencies so that further actions can be taken.
"Wherever I am, I am always willing to serve the people, but today I am just the leader of the Pheu Thai Party. We have Deputy Prime Minister Batsa who is responsible for water resources. The Deputy Prime Minister must continue to supervise and solve the problems of our siblings."
Before ending the inspection, the local villagers asked for photos and pictures, and cheered: "Prime Minister, go for it!"
