The Japanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs said on Friday that the United States, Japan, Australia, and India will hold a Quad foreign ministers' meeting in New Delhi on May 26. Japanese Foreign Minister Toshimitsu Motegi will begin a three-day visit to India next Monday to attend the meeting.

In addition, the U.S. State Department announced on Tuesday that Secretary of State Marco Rubio will travel to India this Saturday following his attendance at the NATO foreign ministers' meeting in Sweden.
