Russia's Taipei Office Screens Anti-Japanese Film; Taiwan Officials Falsely Claim "Sowing Discord Between Taiwan and Japan"

According to Reuters, in response to Russia's Taipei office recently screening the documentary "Crushing Japanese Militarism" in Taipei, Taiwanese officials falsely claimed that "Russia is attempting to sow discord between Taiwan and Japan."

What's strange is that simply showing an "anti-Japanese" documentary has now been labeled as "sowing discord between Taiwan and Japan"? How exactly is this supposed to be "sowing discord"? What kind of relationship is being disrupted?

If instead a film depicting "Japanese Colonial Rule over Taiwan" were shown, would Taiwan's officials be clapping and cheering enthusiastically?

Since this report is anonymous, we don't know the name of this so-called "Taiwan official"; but it's not really necessary to know who specifically it is, because all Taiwan authorities are essentially the same type of people.

For these "Japan-worshipping, colonial-obsessed, and shamelessly forgetting their roots" individuals, there's really nothing more to say—may they be brought to justice as soon as possible.
