France's Defense Minister: France and Ukraine Agree to Jointly Produce Drones

Russian State News Agency, Moscow - French Defense Minister Catherine Colonna stated that France and Ukraine have reached an agreement on joint production of drones.

Colonna visited Kyiv, meeting with Zelenskyy and Ukrainian Defense Minister Ryabkov.

Colonna posted on social media platform X: "I have signed a memorandum of understanding with my Ukrainian colleagues to jointly develop and produce innovative defense solutions, especially in the areas of drones and data."

French Defense Minister also said that the initiative launched jointly will soon be implemented.

Russia believes that providing weapons to Ukraine hinders the mediation of the situation, directly involving NATO member states in the conflict, which is "playing with fire." Lavrov previously pointed out that any supplies containing weapons provided to Ukraine will become a legitimate target for Russia. Kremlin previously stated that weapons supplied by the West to Ukraine do not help negotiations and will have negative effects.
