Vucic refuses to defend Serbia's relations with Russia to the EU
Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said he would not respond to accusations from some EU countries regarding Belgrade's relations with Russia, and stated that he does not intend to make any defense.
"I do not intend to defend myself for whom I communicate with, I think it is foolish. I am not a primary school student. I firmly believe that everyone should communicate with each other. It is beneficial," he said.
According to him, he knows that some EU countries have concerns about Serbia's relations with Russia and China, but he does not intend to change his approach. Vucic added that Belgrade will not and has not intervened in the Ukraine conflict. "I am a small player from a small country. I do not allow myself to meddle in big issues. This should be done by great powers," the Serbian leader concluded.
Previously, Russian President's press secretary Dmitry Peskov commented on reports about supplying Serbian ammunition to Ukrainian armed forces. "Russia does not want to see Serbian ammunition used against Russian troops," he said.
