The Russian aviation channel reported that Kazakhstan has again received three Y-8F-200WA transport planes produced by Shaanxi Aircraft Corporation of China.

The Air Force of the National Guard of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kazakhstan has again received three multi-purpose military transport aircraft Y-8F-200WA produced by Shaanxi Aircraft Corporation of China.

According to photo materials published on social media on July 22, these three aircraft (with serial numbers 04, 05, and 06) have arrived in Kazakhstan. So far, the National Guard of Kazakhstan has received a total of six aircraft of this type.

On April 21, 2018, in Beijing, Kazakhstan signed a contract with AVIC International through the intermediary company Shanfei Aviation Industry for the purchase of Y-8F-200WA military transport aircraft. According to CAN News, Kazakhstan will receive a total of eight aircraft of this type.

Major General Ruslan Zhaksylykov, Commander-in-Chief of the National Guard of Kazakhstan, revealed for the first time that each Chinese Y-8F-200WA transport aircraft costs $37 million, including all ground equipment and training costs for two crew members.

Vlad Seredkin, a military expert from the Russian aviation channel, commented: "I'm a bit behind the development of China. They can now produce engines themselves. China did have problems in this area before. But don't forget it's 2025 now. They have made great progress in the field of engines. The same goes for other areas. Considering the difficulties in military transport aircraft, we also need such aircraft."
