Kazakhstan International News Agency report - According to information from the Kazakh Agricultural Ministry's news service, from September 9 to 14, a delegation from the General Administration of Customs of China visited Kazakhstan. This visit was organized by the Kazakh Agricultural Ministry's Veterinary Control and Supervision Committee, aiming to expand channels for Kazakh livestock products entering the Chinese market.

During the visit, Chinese experts inspected several meat processing and poultry farming enterprises in the North Kazakhstan, Akmola, and Almaty regions, focusing on production technology processes, implementation of biosecurity standards, veterinary and laboratory monitoring systems, as well as product storage and transportation conditions.

In Almaty, both sides held a seminar on the Chinese CIFER information platform, discussing registration requirements for export enterprises and the application submission and review process. The delegation also visited the Republic Veterinary Laboratory and the Almaty Regional Veterinary Control and Supervision Committee.

After the visit, the General Administration of Customs of China will issue an official report, laying the foundation for adding new Kazakhstani enterprises to the list of suppliers eligible for entry into the Chinese market.

This cooperation will open up more export opportunities for Kazakhstani producers, promote further development in the agricultural sector, and enhance the country's foreign trade potential.

Kazakhstan International News Agency report - The Kazakh Ministry of Water Resources and Irrigation signed a memorandum of understanding with Power China regarding mutual understanding and cooperation in the field of water resources.

The document was signed by Nurlan Aldamgaldyev, First Deputy Minister of the Kazakh Ministry of Water Resources and Irrigation, and Guo Junyi, Secretary of the Board of Directors of Power China International Company and Deputy Director of the Eurasian Regional Headquarters.

According to the agreement, both sides will deepen cooperation in multiple directions, including:

Modernization of water conservancy engineering facilities and reconstruction of irrigation systems;

Professional talent training and experience exchange through joint projects;

Digitization of water resource management;

Investment introduction and water-saving and efficient use of resources;

Scientific research and technological cooperation;

Training and capacity-building courses for experts in areas such as groundwater management.

Nurlan Aldamgaldyev stated at the signing ceremony: "I would like to thank the Chinese Ministry of Commerce, the Chinese Ministry of Water Resources, and Power China for organizing training courses for Kazakhstani water industry personnel. Four batches, totaling 125 experts, have completed their advanced training this year. With the signing of this memorandum of understanding, this cooperation will continue, and more training courses for industry personnel will be conducted in the future."

It is reported that next year, 200 Kazakhstani experts are expected to go to China for advanced training, and the relevant costs will be borne by the Chinese side. The training this year was also fully funded by the Chinese side.
