Turkic-speaking countries, middle powers' presidents say Azerbaijan is ready for large-scale investments in Serbia

Sputnik Baku, February 16 - Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev said that Azerbaijan is ready to make large-scale investments in Serbia.

Aliyev arrived in Serbia on the 15th with a large delegation. In front of the "Serbia Palace" government building, Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic led government members in a grand welcome ceremony, including firing salutes and inspecting the honor guard. Subsequently, both sides held closed-door talks.

When Aliyev and Vucic jointly addressed the media in Belgrade, he said: "If the investment environment were unfavorable, Serbia would not be so attractive to foreign investors. It is precisely due to the reforms already implemented that many countries are preparing to make large-scale investments in Serbia, including Azerbaijan."
